Becker Psychological Services has been in business in Orange County, California since 1984. We were formerly located in Villa Park, California and were known as Villa Park Psychological Services. In 2002,we moved to our present location at 1451 Quail St., Suite 102, Newport Beach, California to better serve our clientele. At that time, we changed our name to Becker Psychological Services.
Dr. Vance B. Becker and Dr. Juliette Becker , both hold Doctorates in Clinical Psychology, make up the professional staff. The office is managed by Gina Clayton, Gretchen Guyton and Stephanie Bruce. They are on hand Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to handle appointments, insurance questions, and all business related queries.
As a courtesy, our staff will call your insurance company to determine your benefits. We will bill your insurance bi-monthly. We are not contracted as providers for any managed care companies. We work as out of network providers with many insurance carriers. Once the insurance benefits have been determined, we will inform you. However, Insurance carriers often give only estimates of covered benefits. The accurate amount is actually determined when the claim has been billed and paid.
We require payment in full for the first visit. When the accurate amount of insurance reimbursement is clarified and paid, the payment will be applied to future services. Monthly bills are mailed to provide you with an accurate history of your account.
Psychological instruments will be used based upon individual need. Frequently used instruments include, the Psycho-Social History Questionnaire, the Mental-Status Examination, the Developmental History Questionnaire, the Minnesota Multi-phasic Personality Inventory 2, the Millon Clinical Multi-axial Inventory III, the Personality Assessment Inventory, the Myers -Briggs Type Indicator, the Weschler Achievement , Memory, and Intelligence Tests, and various other inventories.
